Solutions for a PCB contaminated sediment pond

Altavista’s 6 acre petri dish

   

 

The workshop will highlight lab and field work as well as research resulting from 3 years of in-situ PCB degradation and containment in the town of Altavista, Virginia’s  6 acre waste water overflow pond.

Mission of the event:  To share knowledge on the state of the practice of PCB degradation as demonstrated in field scale trials.

Location: The Institute for Advanced Learning and Research (150 Slayton Ave, Danville, VA 24540)
