Community Computer Workshops |
Public Computer Facilities
The Community Networking Center is a public computer lab with Internet access and Microsoft software including word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software, databases and web page authoring. The CNC is open from 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday. Users under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Public workshops on both basic and advanced computer skills are scheduled monthly. Multimedia Development Center The MDC, a member of the New Media Consortium, gives local educators and others access to high-end computer applications for use in education and creative expression. Resources include graphics authoring, digital video editing, scanning, and still and video cameras. The MDC is open by appointment only.
