Christa Reed

Christa Reed is a successful manager, leader and nuclear engineer with 30 years of plant operations, material recovery operations, program management, quality control, and nuclear criticality safety experience. Before retiring, Reed was the Project Pele Program Director (a DOD transportable nuclear reactor) at BWX Technologies, Inc. Prior to that role, she was the Director of Operations at BWXT Nuclear Operations Group, where she was responsible for coordinating all facets of manufacturing, including production, planning, capital projects, and facility maintenance, to ensure on-time delivery of nuclear components. Reed has a B.S and M.S in Nuclear Engineering from North Carolina State University.
