Mahmood Ali Khil obtained a B.A. in Political Science from Kardan University, a Diploma in International Relations from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Kabul, Afghanistan, and completed the Accelerated Training in Defense Manufacturing (Additive Manufacturing) program. He is currently a Master of Management student at the University of Phoenix.
Ali Khil was a senior legal expert in the Directorate of Law of the State Ministry for Peace Affairs, which was formed in 2019 by the government of Afghanistan.
In 2020 he was hired as an Administrative Assistant in the Security Corporation Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan.
In June 2020, Ali Khil played an active role in forming the second National Action Plan UNSCR 1325, named Women, Peace, and Security in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
