Lynch is a Southern Maine Community College graduate, majoring in Culinary Arts. He used his information to work in kitchens for 15 years. Ranging from small corner stores to larger chain restaurants. After the effect of COVID-19 hit, he learned about the ATDM program to which he could acquire new skills and better develop himself, to not only gain new employment but a better opportunity elsewhere in the U.S. He enrolled in the Additive Manufacturing class of February ’24, after successfully completing the course. He worked for the Phillips Additive Team, right in Danville, VA. Where he better refined his skills and obtained new skills, such as working with Direct Energy Deposition and Powder Bed Additive processes. He has taken that knowledge and gained a role in the NASAM Navair program. Lynch hopes to help those who feel similar to him before he finds a new home.
