Todd Yeatts joined IALR in October 2022. He leads the manufacturing advancement training programs, as well as the operation and strategic direction of the new Center for Manufacturing Advancement. Yeatts retired from the Boeing Company where he served as the Senior Manager for Government Relations in seven states. He joined Boeing in 2007 following a 19-month assignment in Iraq as director of strategic communications for a team based in Baghdad. He is a 25-year veteran of the United States Marine Corps, retiring in 2011, after a variety of command and staff assignments. In addition, he worked in both state and local government – first as the legislative liaison to the Virginia General Assembly for the City of Danville and Pittsylvania County, then as the assistant city manager for Danville and later as the director of communications for the Virginia Tobacco Region Revitalization Commission. He is the past Chair of both the Arlington Chamber of Commerce and the GO Virginia Region 7 Economic Development Council. He serves on the Governor’s Aerospace Advisory Council and the Virginia Innovative Partnership Corporation’s Unmanned Systems Advisory Board. Yeatts holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
