The Institute joined forces with economic developers in the region to host the Southern Virginia Regional Alliance (SVRA) in a collaboration to create a strong economy that benefits the citizens of the Southern Virginia Region by promoting the Institute’s footprint through marketing and public relations efforts.
Advanced Learning
Advanced Learning
The Institute serves as the host site for two dual enrollment programs serving students in grades eleven and twelve in Danville and Pittsylvania County Public Schools. The Academy for Engineering and Technology (AET) is a partnership with New College Institute and Virginia State University serving 43 students with an emphasis on engineering.
