As a high school student, the Academy for Engineering and Technology program gave me a kickstart to my career in STEAM. The program introduced me to concepts in mathematics, computer modeling, and communication skills that gave me an advantage as a college student and in my professional career as an architect. Additionally, the program allowed me to interact and build long-lasting relationships with other inspired students outside of my school, fostering the principle of sharing ideas and collaboration. This program is an invaluable resource and an opportunity to energize youth in our community who are interested in STEM and STEAM career paths.

“I loved my time as a student at AET because of the hands-on learning that the program provides. Students are treated with respect and the staff is extremely attentive and helpful. This program provided a work-life balance that allowed me to continue an extensive list of extracurriculars and receive college credit. I have made many amazing friends and professional connections that have helped me prepare for my future career through internships. AET is a wonderful program that benefits all students who enroll.”
