Corey Williams, Ed.D., joined the Institute for Advanced Learning and Research (IALR) in October 2023 and currently serves as the Manager of Career Services for the Accelerated Training in Defense Manufacturing Program (ATDM).
A proud educator and advocate for education, Williams worked for Danville Public Schools as an English & publications teacher before coming to IALR. Williams graduated from Averett University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. He is also a Liberty University graduate, where he received graduate credit in English & Communication, completed his Master of Education in Curriculum & Instruction in May 2020 and also his Doctor of Education in Curriculum & Instruction in May 2023.
Williams is an elected official and civic leader, currently serving on the Danville Public Schools Board of Education. In his free time, he enjoys reading, writing, traveling, running and photography.
