Courtney Massengill currently serves as the Region 4 Training Coordinator for the Great Opportunities in Technology and Engineering Careers (GO TEC) program. In this role, she is responsible for the installation and maintenance of technical equipment, implementation of the GO TEC curriculum, training of educators across GO Virginia’s Region 4, and ongoing program support to ensure instructional excellence.
Prior to joining GO TEC, Massengill dedicated 26 years to education in Dinwiddie County, where she most recently served as the Secondary Gifted Specialist. Her extensive experience in curriculum development and teacher support has been instrumental in advancing STEM education initiatives. Her leadership and innovative projects have earned recognition at both the state and national levels, receiving multiple awards for excellence and collaboration.
Massengill holds a Master of Teaching and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, both from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Bachelor of Science from Richard Bland College.
