Michael Walker

Michael Walker is a Welding Instructor for the Accelerated Training in Defense Manufacturing (ATDM) program. Walker assists in instructing the welding curriculum and developing students’ skills for the defense industry. Prior to his employment with IALR, Walker began his career in the welding industry at Isometrics, Inc., fabricating and welding aluminum pressure-tested piping for refuelers used by the United States Air Force. He was then promoted to Team Lead, where he fabricated a stainless-steel pump housing system for the United States Military. Walker received his Welding Diploma from Rockingham Community College and looks forward to assisting many students in their career paths.
