Founded in 2011 under a public-private partnership, the Commonwealth Center for Advanced Manufacturing (CCAM) is an applied research center and not-for-profit 501(c)(3) with membership from industry, university, and government. CCAM is a resourceful and IP-friendly environment creating solutions to complex, advanced manufacturing challenges.
ROLE IN THE ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING CENTER OF EXCELLENCE (AM CoE)
CCAM will serve as the lead for digital thread and digitally enhanced qualification. CCAM will also develop processes around wire arc additive manufacturing (WAAM) with new and cutting-edge materials. These materials include 100S, CuNi, and HY80.
