Driving Economic Transformation
The Partnership for Regional Prosperity (PRP), an organization focused on growth in Danville and Pittsylvania County, will host a breakfast at IALR on June 21 to interpret input from residents and share how the results will guide future development. From December to April, the Partnership held workshops around the region called The Big Sort, a tabletop exercise where participants evaluated regional and national trends. The results of these events will inform the work of the PRP moving forward. Registration is required and the cost is $10.
The program also will feature Greg Payne of Economic Leadership LLC presenting “Growth Goes Where It’s Easiest,” case studies of communities facing opportunities for significant growth. Then, the Partnership will share the next steps in its work and invite your input. It will be intriguing, informative, and innovative. Don’t miss it.
