The Southern Virginia Megasite at Berry Hill has received the Quest Megasite/Super Park Certification, which validates the site’s readiness to companies looking for robust industrial sites. As the state’s largest premier megasite, this facility offers high attraction to potential developers.
The megasite now holds both state and third-party engineering firm certifications. It received the Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP) Tier 4 Certification in 2018 and the VEDP Tier 5 site certification for the megasite pad site in 2019. Such certifications help domestic and international companies in major industry sectors seek more risk-free development opportunities.
The Southern Virginia Megasite offers many coveted assets to prospective companies, including more than 3,528 acres, over 300 megawatts of electrical access, more than 5.75 million gallons per day of water, natural gas access, Class I rail service and Terabyte fiber speeds.
The esteemed Quest certification was achieved through a collaboration among local and regional economic developers and partners across Southern Virginia with support from the states of Virginia and North Carolina.
