Amanda Hylton joined IALR in 2019 and currently serves as the Program Manager for Advanced Manufacturing where she is responsible for the day-to-day execution of the vision and strategy for the multiple advanced manufacturing initiatives. Ms. Hylton has over 18 years of experience in business and education, working at both the K12 and community college levels. She has substantial experience in various aspects of grants and contract, including writing, management, evaluation and reporting. Prior to her time at IALR, Ms. Hylton taught 8th grade English in the local school division and served on multiple regional and state committees. She earned her Master of Business Administration from Averett University, where she is proud to serve as the Vice President of the Alumni Association Board.
