Chad Roach is the ATDM Training & Technology Coordinator for the Manufacturing Advancement division at IALR. A distinguished graduate of Tunstall High School, Roach further honed his expertise through the Precision Machine Technology program at Danville Community College (DCC). With a dynamic professional journey, he has showcased his exceptional skills and knowledge.
Roach’s career encompasses a diverse range of roles, including serving as a skilled Machinist and Programmer at Wysong Parts and Service. He has also made substantial contributions within the Submarine Industrial Base at BWXT in Lynchburg, exemplifying his dedication to precision and innovation. Notably, his commitment to excellence is underscored by his Journeyman’s card in Precision Machine, signifying proficiency in his craft. His continuous pursuit of improvement is evident through his attainment of Lean Six Sigma Yellow and Green belts, demonstrating his aptitude for efficient and streamlined processes.
Beyond his role as a Training & Technology Coordinator, Roach is the proud owner of RA Machine Shop, a testament to his entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to quality craftsmanship. This venture encapsulates his hands-on expertise and commitment to delivering exceptional manufacturing solutions.
