Dana Silicki

Dana Silicki joined IALR in 2010 and serves as Director, STEM, Service and Lifelong Learning with the Advanced Learning division. In this role, she prepares and implements STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) educational programming for youth and teachers through a variety of programs. Silicki also manages the Dan River Year and REACH Public Health AmeriCorps programs. Silicki has over 20 years of experience in education and extension as a teacher, 4-H agent, and program coordinator. She graduated from Virginia Tech with a B.S. in Dairy Science and M.S. in Career and Technical Education. Dana serves as the Chair of the Danville Public Schools Career & Technical Advisory Council.
