Jarrod Hankins currently serves IALR as a Quality Control Inspection (Metrology) Instructor for the Accelerated Training in Defense Manufacturing (ATDM) program. In this role, Hankins ensures that the curriculum training meets the needs of the Defense Industrial Base. Before coming to IALR, he spent seventeen years at BWX Technologies, where he held the title of Machinist Level 12 Specialist and Quality Inspector Level 12, roles that allowed him to train several new employees in the machine shop and quality control inspection (metrology) departments. Hankins was an ATDM Metrology student himself, along with achieving a two-year Precision Machining Technology Diploma from Danville Community College. Hankins also holds several certifications in machining and Quality Control. A Pittsylvania County Resident, Hankins is excited to help train people to support the Defense Industrial Base to support our country and help create jobs in our local areas.
