Tytiana Dennis is the ATDM Student Services Specialist, Housing for the Accelerated Training in Defense Manufacturing (ATDM) program. Dennis is responsible for coordinating housing needs and accommodation services for students. She identifies housing needs, supports and implements VA housing policies, manages leases and provides support services.
She has over 16 years of housing experience, primarily with Telamon Corporation, where she assisted numerous families and individuals with housing and financial money management. Most recently, Dennis was a Housing Specialist for VA Legal Aid covering the Danville/ Pittsylvania County region, where she assisted over 200 families with Rent Relief due to the impact of COVID-19 to avoid eviction. She served on several boards, including Pittsylvania County Community Action, West Piedmont Better Housing Coalition and Continuum of Care. Dennis was a proud member of the VA Association of Housing Counselors throughout her housing career.
Dennis volunteers with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and the Big Brother Big Sister Program. In 2017, she was honored to receive the Housing Specialist of the Year award from the VA Association of Housing Counselors. Dennis is a HUD Certified Housing Specialist and Foreclosure Prevention Counselor.
