The Danville Pittsylvania County Chamber of Commerce awarded IALR the esteemed Pinnacle Award at the 2021 annual awards ceremony. One of the top honors, it is awarded to a distinguished business or organization that contributes to the economic vitality and quality of life in the region through innovative, ethical business practices, professionalism and strong community involvement. Thanks to groundbreaking applied research, outcomes-based advanced learning, collaborative and strategic economic development, industry-centered advanced manufacturing training, and client-focused conference services, IALR was recognized as one of the region’s leading catalysts of economic transformation.
