IALR Board of Trustees Welcomes New Members
The IALR Board of Trustees is pleased to welcome six new members. David Bennett was appointed by the Pittsylvania County Board of Supervisors; Mark Holland by Danville City Council; and Greg Anderson, Leslie Mantiply and Kunal Patel, each by the House of Delegates, all to serve three-year terms. Additionally, Dr. Greg Hodges was appointed by the Senate to serve the remainder of Dr. Angeline Godwin’s term since she retired.
IALR is governed by a 15-member Board of Trustees that is committed to advancing the mission of economic transformation. The Board of Trustees consists of the presidents of Averett University, Danville Community College and Virginia Tech; the chairman of the board of the Future of the Piedmont Foundation; one resident of the City of Danville, appointed by Danville City Council; one resident of Pittsylvania County, appointed by the Pittsylvania County Board of Supervisors; and nine local citizens representing business and industry, appointed by the governor, Senate and House of Delegates.
